NICE PAMINA
The NICE PAMINA project fits into the development logic of an economic cluster in the area of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in the Espace PAMINA. An economic cluster is a group of decision-makers/entrepreneurs who create and maintain a relational system that allows them both to increase their business opportunities and their growth as well as carryout technological and economic foresight. Solid cluster coordination is necessary in order to stimulate and maintain its growth and effectiveness.
The main objectives of the NICE PAMINA are:
- Networking of enterprises, industry and research in the area of ICT in the PAMINA zone
- Creation of a cross border "network of networks" specialised in ICT
- Awareness raising activities and mutual understanding and recognition between actors through regular meetings and events
- Better diffusion, exchange and transfer of information concerning the theme of ICT business clusters.
The NICE PAMINA project integrates into the framework of the INTERREG IIIa Espace Pamina programme, which aims at integrated and sustainable development of the PAMINA area and looks at more particularly to respond to the following objectives:
- Improvement of regional comptetitiveness
- Promotion of cross border cooperation in technology and innovation and the cross border activities of SME/Creation of enterprises
The NICE PAMINA project activities will take place in the following cross border zones:
- North Alsace (France)
- Region Mittlerer Oberrhein (Germany)
- Südpfalz (Germany)
The main working axes are:
- Partnerships and meetings: Organisation of collaborative activities around 4 big events concerning technological innovations, 4 Franco-German delegations to participate in major conferences and events "ICT and innovation" in Europe (delegations being a privileged way of creating cross border partnerships), 5 thematic workshops.
- E-skills database of ICT clusters in the Pamina region: Creation of an e-skills database with a map interface that allows the geolocalisation of skills (GIS – Geographic Information System), the identification of training and training needs, quantitative study of the offer
- Measurement of innovation on economic development through clusters: Establish the indicators allowing to measure the impact of operating in a cluster on economic development
- Territorial impact of ICT cluster development: Identify the impact of the development of ICT clusters in the PAMINA zone; distance learning training module for local civil servants.
- Marketing tools for partnerships and clusters: prepare a state of the art of marketing and promotion methods for clusters in Europe. Conceive a search tool for IT competencies (« Information Technologies »), a leaflet, launch events etc. Promote the Espace Pamina as a place for economic development as a whole.
- Project management: Administrative and financial project management.
